You must have misunderstood something somewhere.

"Iran is in the middle east.

The middle east is full of Muslims.

All Muslims want to drop a huge nuclear weapon on America."

I think that was the version Michelle Bachmann read. She must picture the Middle East as nothing but a region of cave dwelling terrorists and polluted, crime ridden cities where everyone lives in a shack. And she's not the only one.

So what, Iran's dictator wants to drop a Nuke on us!

Look what caused them to over throw the Shah.
We have been all up in their business for awhile now.

If I were all up in your business and camped out in your backyard, because you threw me out of your house, I'm sure you would be pleased.

But look at it this way. He has your home surrounded and booby trapped to blow, and you have a .45 and one bullet.

Are you going to use your one bullet?

Ali Khamenei has no interest in America beyond what we do in the middle east that would directly effect Iran.

The same man who voiced distaste for 9/11 and empathy for America is not the same man that would drop his one nuclear weapon on America without just cause. Quite the contrary - if we'd stop meddling in the affairs of countries that are sovereign and in an entirely different region perhaps they wouldn't seek nuclear weapons in what looks like a last attempt at keeping America the powerful at bay.

A christian America vs. a muslim Iran.

What's the difference?

I do have to say.... Those that have a Nuke, get respect.

Look at Libya. We go in. Talk them out of their Nuke and then go in and kill him.

They were killing each other OVER THERE just fine. We didn't start getting attacked, until our nose got stuck in their business, telling them "a supposedly sovereign nation" what they can and cannot do, like we, or the UN are the rulers of the world.

It just seems so unnatural and is giving me chills. I think I might need to start a new thread for it. And by "unnatural" , I mean for humans. It seems like a normal reptilian thing though.

A good (and completely unintentional) summary of what is wrong with US foreign policy.
