I read it incorrectly as well...the placement of the word, "million" in the slogan, "4 Million to win" was too close to the dollar amount and my mind mixed the two.

Still, 35+ thousand in less than 10 minutes is nothing to sneeze at.

*In a forceful attack, Minnesota Rep. Michele Bachmann said Gingrich "had his hand out and received $1.6 million to influence senior Republicans and keep the scam going in Washington, D.C.," for Freddie Mac, a government-backed housing entity.

"Just not true," Gingrich shot back. "I never lobbied under any circumstances," he added, denying an allegation she had not made.*

I thought that was interesting when I heard it.
I'm not sure how credible Bachmann is. The more I see her, the less I like her. She said Keystone would create at least 20,000 jobs. I've heard anywhere from 6,000 to 20,000 and everything in between.

I thought you were reading the PAC list, which did indeed jump by close to a million in a half hour.

"influencing senior republicans" is considered "lobbying" , she did make the point

It's expected that the money bomb will shoot off at the start, BUT, we should not let it fizzle out. I plan to donate through out the day to help keep the momentum going, till I hit my maximum.
