$6 a gas is going to do very little to push our depency away from oil. We use oil for so much more.

it might reduce it though and we'll be less inclined to waste it! and maybe we will learn something the second time around because it appears to me that we learned nothing from 1973!

I agree with you on that. Hey I am even driving the speed limit now and am surprised how much better the car is doing. And how much more relaxing it is. Well until people ride up behind me because they never look much further than their hood when they drive :P

^^

I want a 2008 250r Kawasaki Ninja

I drive a semi restored 1993 Acura Integra GS. Was planing to put a Type R engine in there but given gas prices, thats OUT.

Was thinking about RX 8 at one time but again, gas prices + 19 mpg = nope.

Hi Wild Style,
Back when I was riding a Suzuki sv650s, I was getting around 40mpg... my brother had a Kawi Ninja 250 and was was getting ~60mpg. I drive a civic hybrid now... don't ride anymore since my daughter was born... would love to get back on a bike though. Would consider looking into a Buell.

I'd recommend a second hand 250 if ur starting new since you might wanna trade up after awhile with it.

True and second hand is cheap. I have a feeling with gas prices scooters and motorcycles will become far more popular
