I'm not sure how I feel looking at the dyed dogs. My first thought is to laugh because they do look funny and a bit cute. But I fall back on it's very odd. Dogs coats are gorgeous enough as they are born, they don't need to be tigers or pandas.
There is a guy at my dog park that dyed his chihuahua to look like a tiger. It looks exactly like it. I'm not a fan, and apparently neither are all the dogs with prey drive, who try to attack this poor, submissive thing every time it comes to the park! There used to be one that was painted like a zebra, but I haven't seen her in a while.
i have seen this email.... and don't have anything good to say.....
i am a firm believer that a dog should keep unaltered all of the parts and colors and textures that the good lord blessed him with ..... well, except for the mommy and daddy parts......
this includes ear and tail docking..... don't see a reason for it AT ALL......
O.k. forgetting the stripes, is the blue-ish gray color natural? That color is amazing on pupster and would look so much better without the foolish stripes.

No, the dog is back. She sprayed it with silver hair spray, then painted the black stripes.
I agree with the other posters; this is unnecessary, and almost borders on animal cruelty. I think that there is something inherently wrong with people who insist that something be something that it is not. If you like tigers, go to the zoo; don't get a dog and paint it like one.
I'm also a little concerned about the toxicity of the products that are used on these poor pets
