In the video, the dog was able to go inside the house thru a whole in the roof. Maybe there was some kind of sustenance? But I do still wonder about water.

Crazy he/she lived that long. Glad the dog was found. Hopefully they find more survivors but the human kind.

Fontucky I just saw this video and had to pop over to CD to see if anyone here saw it also.
I'm so happy for this poor pupster who managed to hang on for 3 weeks.
Absolutely amazing and hope he finds his family or another good home.

Reading the title to this thread, I was hesitant to click on this, afraid the outcome would be a bad one. So glad this dog was rescused. Hopefully he'll be reunited w/ his owners or found a loving home.

I saw this also I was so happy this pupster was rescued. I am always hesistant about looking into these stories<as I said before I am a BIG wuss> I am always afraid of the outcome.

Wowsa! Always amazed at the spirit a dog has in defying the odds. Glad the pup was rescued to safety...yay!
The video said 18k people are still missing...oh my! Tragic situation for those looking for loved ones.

He didn't even look that thin. I imagine he stopped himself from drinking sea water- he must have had some sort of fluids available. He could live that long without food, but not without water.
Did he look a bit like a Shiba Inu? (sp?)
