I am currently living in Bozeman, MT (which is rapidly trying to become another Jackson Hole, WY aka a rich community). I really do not like this place at all. I have been considering moving to Denver area for a couple yrs now but don't all the info on cost of living changes. As of right now I only make about 25k a yr. However I am attending school to become a computer engineer. Can someone help me?

Also, I currently work for the Coca Cola plant in my area, is there any openings for one there?

The cost of living in certain areas (groceries, clothing, etc) is pretty comparable to most other metro areas. Though I came from West Michigan where the cost of living is pretty low. You will pay more for car registration, sales taxes, and especially housing. Renting will run you around 800 - 1200 for a 2 bed outside of Denver proper. If you're looking to buy a house, be prepared to spend around 250K (suburbs), however housing in the city of Denver will go for 300K - 1.5 Mil...it was quite the sticker shock coming from Grand Rapids. Although there was a financial impact to moving to Denver, I love living out here. I wish you the best of luck with your move to Denver.

Thanx for the info. I have been to Denver a decent amount of times and love it there. I am also a huge fan of the Nugs. Seems to me from the sites i found that the overall cost would be less than it is here in Bozeman, so it might be a smart move for me.
