Anyone want to make a bet on how much we actually get? I'm getting prepared to work from home tomorrow if necessary.

I really hate Spring weather in Denver - at least until May when it rains instead of this crap. Just when you get used to it being warm, this crap happens.

Where's Elle Bare?

I guess I am just watching too much Fox News. I had no idea this was supposed to happen! Of course, I live in Canon City and, it's dry here. It did however snow a little last night.....BIG shocker!!

Well, I'm in Longmont and we always get less here. I predict for this area it will be around 7". We have a concert tomorrow night at the Fillmore. Of all times for a big storm....

At this point, I'd take anything! (Even though it's my day off!)

Longmont City Council just issued a warning for a Level 2 Snow Event which means 0"-6" of snow on Thursday and possibly Friday. I think I'll be leaving work early to stock up at Safeway. Why do the storms always hit when I have no food in the house?!

Yeah, I sent hubbie to the grocery store with my list. I still remember the bad one in March a few years ago.

I'm guessing a foot for Denver metro. That alone will keep me in bed!!

Everyone I work with is preparing to stay home and a lot of them who were flying out tomorrow are flying out tonight. The airlines are issuing waivers, so no change fees.

And we just bought these sweet cruiser bikes last Sunday!!!!!!

Can he go for me too?

Sadly, I don't have the option these days to work from home, so I'll be fighting my way up I-25 trying to get work in one piece and probably bricking it the entire way

Chilaili: Who said I'd be working? lol

I'd be taking a day off, but that's just fine with me. It's not worth it to me to try the 3 hr. commute, get to work at 10:30, have an hour lunch then turn around at 4:30 and come back home. I'd rather stay in my pajamas!!!

I do suggest hitting the store for some basics, just in case. Even if it's not bad, at least you won't have to do the store in the storm. Do the store in the storm. A good song title if you ask me!!!! I'm on a sugar rush right now. LOL!!!!!

I'm getting ready to go get groceries right now. I hate going even in the best of weather. Add bad weather and I'm really grouchy.

My husband is out of town and they were supposed to fly back tomorrow afternoon. Thankfully their meeting for tomorrow got canceled, so they are coming back tonight.

What a nightmare it's going to be trying to get down to Denver tomorrow night!

Where's Elle Bare?
Elle Bare is so last year!

I say we will see 6-8 inches in the city with more west of I-25. I would love to see 12 inches or more, not just because we need it, but I love snow storms. Sadly, these spring snow storms can kill off the blossoms and break branches that already have new leaves. The storms of 2003 and 2006 caused some roofs to colaspe due to the weight, but conditions are not the same now as they were then.

Thank God I am in Capitol Hill and everything stays open, restaurants, movie theaters, grocery stores because most of the employees walk to work.
