Both my hubby and I have home offices No commute unless he has to go to a client, which is maybe once every two weeks or so.

I'm in Thornton and work on 17th Ave. downtown. Even though I'm only 13 miles away, it usually takes me about 45 minutes to commute. The morning is usually easy, but the ride home can be bad. Really, it just takes one accident on I-25 to screw up the whole commute, even on the bus which takes the HOV.

If not too late, can this poll be modified to add another choice, ZERO miles, since I'm retired. Some people also work from home.

Sorry, can't do it. I guess I'm really more interested in how far people drive to work, so those that work at home can check under 5. Maybe I'll set up another poll later about work at home people. BTW, I'm 4 1/2 miles.

SAHM, so all I have to do is roll out of bed in the morning, but my husband can walk to his office, unless he's off seeing clients. In that case, it's over 30 miles. At least his mileage is reimbursed!

Ditto to all this except I work on 16 AVE (not on the mall). If it is rush hour, I expect at 35-45 mins. During the day or night - I can make the run in about 25 min. doing the speed limit.

My job is primarily driving, so I drive quite a bit (maybe 150mi each day, between two vehicles).

The company I contract with, their office is about 3 miles from my house.

I am often required to begin and end my days at either DIA or Centennial Airport, and I live geographically just about smack dab between them, which is about as good as I could do location-wise.

Ditto. Husband's office is out of the house, but he does see customers often. A majority of the time it involves flying out of state on Monday and returning on Friday, which means about a 20 mile drive to DIA and back each week. His mileage is also reimbursed

Eighteen miles one way. Shortest drive I've ever had. Used to be 38 miles. For whatever reason, the places I work haven't been close to where I want to live. A lot of time manufacturing and aerospace facilities are located in industrial areas or near loud airports - often not appealing to live.
