Down the stairs. I started a home based business several years back and now it is my full time job. I definitely do not miss commuting.

My wife was driving from Highlands Ranch to Parker for her job. It would take her 30 - 45 minutes, depending on traffic and weather. Fortunately, she was able to transfer closer to home, so now her commute is about 2 miles.

About 30 miles each way. I live in Castle Rock and commute to Northern CO springs. It only takes about 30 minutes each way. Back east (boston/baltimore) it would've taken me close to an hour each way!

Bought a house 33 miles from my job at the time knowing I was looking for a new job. Now I commute 9.8 miles straight across 120th ave, so it's 45 mph most of the time, which is a great speed for gas mileage

Cool Its not all that far

I live in Elizabeth and Work in Englewood.
Its a 37.5 mile commute but its really not bad.

I've changed my work hours to 6:30 to 3:30 and its made all the difference.
Cutting through Parker its roughly 45 minutes in the morning and 50 coming home. Going through CastleRock is the same time, but is an extra 5 miles in length.

In snowy weather in the mornings, you want to avoid Parker at all costs.
The THD's (Tract House Dwellers) simply do not know how to drive in the snow.
(snowy mornings in Parker will add 30+ minutes to the commute, Through CastleRock, only 5)

Would I change it? NO WAY. I live on several acres in a pine forest and have a herd of deer that visit my yard daily in Winter. Small town feel, friendly people, rural but not "rednecky". Shopping malls are only 25 minutes away. (Southlands in Aurora, CastleRock Outlets, and Park Meadows in Lone tree).
