Hey Everyone,

After reading through a number of threads on this site, I figure I'd get in my own. I'm still struggling figuring out which Denver neighborhoods sound like where I want to be. I'm 29/m, moving out in mid-October. Working on hashing out the job situation.

I'm looking for a place that's relatively nice, convenient to downtown (I want to be able to go out easily, and not have it be a production), and has some character ideally.

From my own experience there, I've also heard that a fair number of Massachusetts folks have moved that way, so any tips on a good bar to catch a Sox game would be appreciated.

Any thoughts?

Do you want a more urban or suburban environment. Young and hip or more family oriented. Your probably going to hear Wash Park, or Highland area, for more single/hip. Or LoDo for downtown hip. Need more info.

I'd say looking more urban, young and hip type place. I don't think I'm quite ready for suburbia, though, I remain open to the option. My preference would someplace more urban, with a solid nightlife and good character. To add, I'm also a musician (not full-time), and I know in general, there's a pretty solid local scene in the Denver area, and I want to be in and around that.

Some of the names already out there are what I've heard a few times already, so that's where I'm starting to look. But any other info would be great.
