Typical levels of sunshine. Temperatures have been largely seasonal, and we haven't had any measurable snow in Denver in about 3 weeks. There's still some patchy snow from the dumps we got late last year left over in northerly-facing and shaded spots.

I'll be visiting this Thursday with family. Where can I go in the city to find clean snow for the kids to play in? If not in the city then the closest area. Thanks.

This weekend is supposed to ge in the upper 50s in Denver. Any snow left will not be anything fun (or clean) to play in. You'll need to head to the mountains. You might find some in Evergreen or Golden if you are just looking to play not ski.

Try the west side of Mount Falcon Park. There will probably be snow in the meadow or in the evergreen trees off the Tower Trail near the eagle eye picnic shelter.

Lair o' the Bear Park may also have snow in the shaded areas.

To add to this post - here is the Google Maps location for the west side of Mount Falcon. The road to the trailhead goes through a neighborhood and there are a couple turns. If you come up from US-285 you'll see the infamous mint green billboard at the Indian Hills Community Center that's become a meme with because of all its punny sayings.

Lair o' the Bear is here.
