We live in Florida on the beach and are thinking about relocating our family to the Denver area. It will be me, my husband, our 9 year old son and possible our 21 year old daughter and her baby. My husband works as a Bartender for the Hilton Corp., however, he is finishing up his accounting and finance degree. He will have to work as a bartender until he finishes but he does not want to work at a nigh club. I didn't see any Hilton Hotels for him to transfer too unfortunately. I am a photographer and hope to open my own business when we get there. (I may have to find an office job until I get my business going)
Our son goes to Catholic School and does really well. I don't know how the cost of living compares to where we are at now and if we will make enough money to afford a Catholic school education. My son has never been to a public school and I worry about him not being challenged. So with the info I've provided can someone suggest an area that is diverse and affordable with good public schools. We will probably be renting at first just to make sure we like the area before we commit to buying anything. Our goal is to eventually move back to South Fl later on down the road. We are currently living on the Space Coast and hate it. No jobs, terrible schools, and a run down community. Besides our son's Catholic School I don't have many good things to say about this area.
Thanks

Default Hilton in Denver

Surf to Hilton.com and search on Denver, CO as the city.
We have them.

They have the Hilton Garden Inn which are a lower end hotels. We do plan on checking them out when we visit in April.
Thanks for the info though.

There's a huge Hilton in downtown Denver with one of the best views of the mountains you could ask for. I'm sure there's more than one in a region of 3M people.

In COLO SPGS we have the Antlers Hilton in the downtown which has a nice bar and restaurant.

There are great Catholic schools in the Denver area, and you might be able to get some sort of tuition assistance. I'd advise giving either the archdiocese or, better yet, a few specific schools, a call.

There are no Hilton Hotels in Denver, but there are several other Hilton brands in Denver, including:

Hilton Garden Inn -- Downtown Denver, Denver Tech Center, Denver South-Meridian, Denver-Cherry Creek, DIA, Highlands Ranch
Embassy Suites -- Downtown Denver, Denver Tech Center, Aurora, Denver SE, DIA
Doubletree by Hilton -- the Curtis Denver (downtown), Denver Stapleton, Westminster, Aurora, Thornton

There are also several Hampton Inn, and Homewood Suites hotels.

Good public schools according to the test:
Douglas County (includes Highlands Ranch, Parker & Castle Rock)
Cherry Creek Schools
Littleton Public Schools
Boulder School District
Others are good, we do not have "bad schools".

Good school discussion here: School districts in/around Denver

Just curious, why Denver? Don't get me wrong it is a beautiful city, and, in my opinion, has a vibrant culture, but is far from an ocean.
