A good friend of mine from college just called, and she's planning a bachelorette party for her sister in August. Her sister wants to take the girls out to dinner in Denver, and she wants to eat at a restaurant with an outdoor rooftop dining patio. The only places I can think of are Vita and Lola in the Highlands on Boulder St. If anyone here knows of any other places that offer this, I'd much appreciate the suggestion.

There's a bar on the south side of County Line Road just west of I-25 that has a roof deck and great views of the mountains. It's called LoDo's of Highlands Ranch, and I understand that it's ok during the day but an out-of-control bar at night. Don't know if you can reserve the deck.

There are also a couple of bars in LoDo that have roof decks. Again can't remember the names, but I think that Jackson's is one of them. They are just bars, though, so not much in the way of ”dining“. The Buckhorn Exchange, near Downtown, has what they call a Roof Garden, that can be reserved for private parties. Their menu is pretty pricey!

You can google ”rooftop decks Denver“ and find even more than on the previous poster's list.

Funky Buddha Lounge near 8th & Lincoln has a covered rooftop for cocktails and appetizers.

Denver needs more of this type of restaurant/bar IMO.

Try the Sports Column across the street from Coors Field. Probably not what the girls have in mind, but...
