I've been here 20 hours and I already want to kill myself. There is nothing here but Check Cashing Stores, Liquor Stores, and Banks (Thanks to bail outs). Everything is out of business. There is nothing to do. I'd kill myself for a high school baseball game at this point. There are no good restaurants, really only chains everywhere.

What do these people do here?

You've been there 20 hours and know there's only chains and nothing to do? And you posted this at 1 pm so a good part of those 20 hours were spent sleeping?

Sounds like you've been able to scour Dover and it's completely devoid of anything.

Yes I went to all of Dover, I even went to "the green" which is the size of my backyard. So far this post has been the most entertaining thing I have done in Dover.

No one has yet to tell me the things I should be doing in Dover that are very exciting?

Can I ask why you are in Dover if you are that unhappy with it?

How about ... Dover Downs Casino, Dover Mall, Johnson Victrola Museum, Spence's Flea Market, Museum of Small Town Life, Agricultural Museum, Biggs Museum, The St. Jones Reserve, The Old State House, Air Mobility Command Museum at AFB, Delaware State University, State Police Museum, Pizzadilli's Vineyard and Winery, Barretts Chapel, The Schwartz Center for the Arts, Silver Lake Park, the stores in the Amish countryside, The Dover Art League (and that's what I can think of off the top of my head) ... or head 45 minutes north to Wilmington or 45 minutes south to the beach towns of Rehoboth, Lewes and Bethany Beach.

Considering it's December, you really won't find yourself a baseball game.

Why don't you stop being such a sourpuss, it's been 20 freaking hours.

Look for stuff. Are you going to be there a while? Find some club sports to play (like Dodgeball), go shopping, go play some poker (and please lose to my husband while you are there ), see a movie. Go for a scenic drive, take a walk, there are some beautiful places to just relax.

And also remind me never to hang out with you because I don't want to be dragged down by someone so negative. GEESH!
