Get in the car, head south and toward the bay and take a look at the thousands of snow geese that are spending the winter here. What a sight to see!

Oh yes, and restaurants? No problem. You can skip the chains and find Vietnamese on Jefferic just off 13, Seafood at Shuckers on 13 just south of Dover Downs, Barbeque at Where Pigs Fly, good burgers at Smithers or Fraziers or Restaurant 55 in Magnolia, good pizza at Frederica Pizza, Mexican at La Tolenteca or just plain decent food at places like Country Eaterie, Dover Family Restaurant and Kirby & Holloway! There are also the buffets at Dover Downs and Harrington Slots (it's Tuesday, so it's Italian Night.)

Anything else we can do for you??

I was just about to recommend Shuckers, but I see Charley beat me to it. They have some very tasty food though, and the atmosphere is very relaxing.

They have some decent night life in Dover, although I personally have not been anywhere at night in Dover except Dover Downs for a few years. If you like rock music, I hear Bubba's on 13 is a good time. Dover Downs often has nightly entertainment as well.

Nah......Get in the car, head north, and catch the next plane out of Philly, to anywhere.

Before you leave, visit 33 West for some fine food, on the corner of Loockerman St. & Bradford St. Here's a menu.

Glad we could provide this entertainment for you.

You should have checked out Dover more before coming to the area. Read the papers. It is very dangerous. Get out of town while you still can!!

I read the paper and it was about how Smyrna lost in girls basketball. That was on the cover. There were also some murders.

If you don't feel like sight seeing you can go to Target and finish your Christmas shopping.

What do these people do here?
As other posters have kindly pointed out to you, there is more in Dover than what you uncovered in your first 20 hours. It has the typical number and quality of things to do and places to eat as in most other cities of its size (~35K), if not a bit more in terms of museums. If you came to Dover looking for Vegas, however, that's on you.
