I know Walnut Hill in North Dallas has a dual-language program. The school is over half transfer students--they're very accepting of kids from other school zones there.

Kramer still has large neighborhood support. Just drive around the area a look at all the Kramer signs at the homes.

A good story (more photos click on link) about the excellent party with campy themes that the Lakewood Early Childhood PTA throws to kick off the annual home tour:

A little slice of Las Vegas goes a long way when used properly.

The Lakewood Early Childhood PTA threw its Viva Las Lakewood party Friday night as the opening event of the 34th annual Lakewood Home Festival.

The party and associated silent auction — all benefiting Lakewood Elementary, J.L. Long Middle, and Woodrow Wilson High schools — took place at Lakewood Country Club, sans, or course, Liberace but full of Vegas spirit.

Don’t believe what you read? Fine, check one photo in particular.

The Lakewood Early Childhood PTA is throwing the first event of the Lakewoodville "Livin' in Paradise" themed-parties at Brackets Restaurant & Sports Bar at 7 pm on Thursday, October 27.

There will be lots of food, drink, music and fun events to do. Participants can try their hand at the Wii on a big screen or just chill with some laid-back table games.

The next "Livin' in Paradise" party will be the Casino & Auction party in November.
