Yes major damage in Murphy, Wyile and Sachse. Fortunately our windows didn't break because of patio surrounding house. But roof shingles and gutter pipes are damaged. Surprisingly no damage to Sonata (was driving through tennis ball size hail!!!). Security sign in front yard vanished without trace. Mulch got dig out from landscaping.

We could see our neighbors putting up tarp and cardboard to cover broken windows as repairs will take some time.

For fun, and to convince non-believers we have kept few sample of large hail in freezer.

We had hail in northwest Frisco. Started from pea sized hail went upto almost golf ball sized ones and then went down to marble sized hail. The hail hitting against all the windows was very loud. Luckily no major damage but my wife's freshly planted flowers are all gone.

I was driving through Parker when the hail started. Lots of golf ball/tennis ball sized hail. Big dents in my car, but only the driver side mirror broke.

Park/Preston here.

We had the golf balls last time, this time we had only had pea/marble-sized hail, and only for 5-10 minutes. Still broke my neighbor's skylight, though.

Guy across the street had his roof repair from "the big one" just finished the day before. Bad timing for sure.

Everything really is bigger in TX with the size of the hail. Its crazy that yall had about three hail storms recently. The first two caused about $900 million in damage plus the storm on yesterday will probably add $600+ million to that total. Plus the tornado a few months ago. I know those insurance rates are going to increase in Dallas

I'm here in Wylie. Thought I had dodged a billet when I didn't have any damage from the hail storm 3 weeks ago. Well I did dodge that bullet only to get creamed by the one yesterday. 3 broken windows 3 leaks in the roof, fence pretty much gone. Yeah it was a doozy. Luckily no one hurt though.

Thanks Captain Obvious!

(It's not like insurance companies around here need any excuse to hike our rates even higher.)

Glad nobody's hurt, and I hope your insurance company doesn't jerk you around and gets you fixed up really soon!

I've only lived here a year but I feel like Hail is probably the biggest Peril the Metro deals with routinely on a regular basis it's probably part of the reason why the car insurance here in Bananas.

Why on earth would anyone drive in a storm like this one. I say dip into a bank drive through or an office building covered park or parking garage even if one couldn't make it to the destination if one has too. I hear people were actually injured during this storm. When I tell you the sky went dark as this storm approached!
