Thank you for your help!

I am moving to Addison (zip code 75230). Would appreciate any information about how safe an area it is. Read a lot of bad reviews on Google, but hoping someone from the area can advise. Also, if not Addison, is there an area nearby (5-10 miles) that is reasonably safe?

If anybody can recommend a good car dealership (preferably a honda or toyota) that would be nice too. So far, most places get terrible reviews. Rusty Wallis and Lute Riley's by far seem to be the best.

Again, many thanks for the help!

I live in 75230. To my knowledge 75230 is only city of Dallas. It is for the most part a safe, upscale area. There is a small quadrant near Montfort/Harvest Hill that gets dodgy because there is an apartment complex called "The Plaza" which takes section 8.

75001 is Addison. 75230 is the city of Dallas. Are you looking for an apt.?

For what its worth I had a miserable experience with Lute Riley Honda. In short, they did not have the car I was looking for but told me they could get it. They called me and told me it was there and asked when I could come check it out. I told them 6:00p.m. They told me they would hold it for me. I get there and another couple was test driving it. I asked what was up? They said not to worry. When the couple returned, they decided they wanted to put an offer on the car. So the manager comes to me and says if you are willing to make an offer on the car right now, without seeing or driving it we will let you have it instead of the other couple. I won't repeat what I said to him, but I bought my car from Vandergriff in Arlington.

The town of Addison has 2 zip codes. 75001 is totally and only Addison. A part of Addison (west of the Tollway) is in zip 75254 which is a Dallas mailing address but within the town limits.

I bought my Honda from Jim McNatt Honda when they were in Lewisville. They've since moved to just outside of Denton, but I continue to go there for service because they are outstanding.

I work for a Honda dealer in Tulsa, OK and as far as dealer's in north Dallas such as David McDavid Honda in Frisco, do they get a lot of good reviews and customers? That dealership is huge and it looks really nice. I drove past it a few times on the Dallas Parkway and State Highway 121.
