The guy who lives in a small bungalow in a pretty place and enjoys a relaxed lifestyle with friends and nature isn't stupid because he didn't end up in a Collin County mcmansion.
No they tend to make better decisions overall on things that won't necessarily make them rich. No you didn't seem to understand what I mean by "by definition"

You again failed to understand that no where did I say that someone choosing to live in a small bungalow in a nice place was stupid. However most people are definitely stupid.

What is your net worth and highest level of educational attainment, just curious. I’m always suspicious of people who loudly and confidently proclaim that they’re way smarter than most people.

I think you don't understand what "by definition" means. If you think rich people tend to make better decisions, fine. But there is nothing about the definition of "rich" that implies this if we are talking about general decision making.

My guess is that this poster is very young as it's a quite immature world view. And probably best left at that.

If I wish to define/classify rich people as making better decisions and define poorer people by making worse decisions then by definition fits. If you can't understand that concept then that is a you problem. In other words I am defining good decision making people and bad decision making people. Those good decision making people by definition make good decisions which leads them to be rich and those decisions are why they are rich.

Mid to upper 7 figures. Almost 8. Education is irrelevant because very little of what people learn is used in the real world. Although my education is college level.

Late 40s. I think it's funny how you want to slam Collin County McMansion owners when they have likely done better and made better decisions than 90% of you here. And I do not live in a Collin County McMansion. I live in a Mansion but mine was custom built

I don't believe someone that makes high 7 figures has time to bicker on CD. Also, nobody is making fun of Mcmansions, we just have a different lifestyle. Some of us enjoy the outdoors, not sitting in a big house alone, while watching tv. Go enjoy nature buddy.

There is one big decision the wealthy tend not to make well, and that is one that will affect their eternity. I would rather a mansion that lasts forever than one that will eventually rot.

Custom-built mansions imo aren't great investments.

He doesn't make high seven figures. His net worth is high seven figures. Big difference.

I can believe it (that people with high net worth have time to argue on CD). Many get high net worth by sitting in front of computers, which is not 9-5 hard labor. It has downtime, and that downtime generally has to be spent near a computer. So arguing on the internet allows one to spend their downtime in a personally interesting way and it's not like we could be out fishing or paragliding or whatever.
