People are the same everywhere so, odds are, your experience would be similar in Dallas

I was under the impression that Dallasites tend to be a bit more marriage-minded than average. The explosion of family-friendly communities in the northern burbs would seem to bear that out.

Not exactly...

People in the northern suburbs are already married, THEN they move here. You won't find lots of single people in any of the suburbs generally discussed here. If you're single, then Uptown is the place to be around here, or possibly Addison if you work close by there.

I live in Atlanta and travel to see my family every year. I think the dating scene is the same but ofcourse I would say theres more singles here but there is people looking for love everywhere. Research the city and see if its a place you would want to live. Ive been wanted to move back but I love atlanta. I havent lived there as an adult though so i cant speak on alot.

As usual, need more info. What are you looking for? 24 seems young to be married in a big city, not sure it'd be much different here than ATL. Maybe there's a more of a religious element here that encourages younger marriage amongst the religious youth, perhaps?

I've lived in Dallas 7 years and in my experience, Dallas is a sausage fest (good thing for you). I've been to Atlanta about 5 or 6 times and going out and about in clubs it seems there are more ladies than guys out there. I'd move in a heart beat for the same reasons, but jobs in my area seem to pay far less over in Atlanta.

Not good if the OP is a straight male.

Google "$30k millionaire". Dallas is the capital of that scene.
