Certainly you jest, right?! Where exactly are the mass quantities of Section 8 housing in Uptown? There isn't any at all along the major foot traffic areas (McKinney Ave, State-Thomas neighborhood, West Village neighborhood).

That isn't Uptown. Uptown is west of 75.

Yeah, but it's probably close enough to make some yupsters queasy. As that side of Central changes, with the new Kroger, and Ross Avenue and Fitzhugh start to yuppify, it'll be interesting to see what happens in all of the east of 75 neighborhoods over the next few years.
