18 St. Mark's
18 FM Marcus (LISD)

Dallas TAG is impressive. That's a pretty small class, isn't it?

I think TAG is around 65 students.

To correct a few grievous omissions.....

Jesuit 13 NMSF ~250 students = ~5%
Ursuline 8 NMSF ~200 students = ~4%
Cistercian 11 NMSF ~53 students = ~21%

I think those are last year's numbers. DMN shows the 2013 numbers for these schools as 9, 7, and 9, respectively. While plugging the Catholic schools, don't neglect that both Bishop Lynch and JPII have a pair.

Now that I have enrollment data for Lovejoy and TCA, I can run the percentages and post them later tonight. I can already tell that Flower Mound is definitely the winner this year.

I think most people would agree that BL and JPII are both less competitive than the 3 mentioned, though.

Thanks. I can never remember the newer high schools & if they have a senior class yet.

You are absolutely right. I'm not sure how/why I grabbed the old data. My daughter claims Jesuit has 11 and UA 8. I'll get good numbers tomorrow or Monday.

First, a big congrats to your son! I hope he has a great senior year ahead.

Second, 5.8% is tremendous. The only schools that consistently crank out 5%+ are the elite East Coast publics.

I tend to give BL a partial pass. BL has a long-standing habit of accepting lots of neighborhood kids who simply could not get into other privates. Jesuit and UA do as well but to a lesser degree. I admire BL and what the school is about. JPII not so much. It's too bad JPII wasn't built at it's original planned location on Hedgecoxe between Coit and Ohio it would have worked out better for most everyone.
