RoboCop without a doubt. OfficeSpace (filmed mostly around Austin w/ exterior shots in Dallas) a close second.

Some movies that were partly filmed in and around DFW - Logan's Run, Boys Don't Cry, Problem Child, and Any Given Sunday (to name a few).

Problem Child was not a bad movie. I loved John Ritter. I do remember Problem Child being filmed in Dallas and Problem Child part 2 being filmed in Orlando.

There was a really good movie filmed in Dallas that many people don't know about. It's called "A Killer Within" starring C. Thomas Howell who was in the movies ET, The Outsiders, and Soul Man.

There is another movie being filmed in Dallas right now; I know about it because there is a dog starring in the movie that happens to be a full sister to our dog (border collie). They came over Sunday night and that's all the owner could talk about. A horror flick, and probably a B movie. She showed us some pics with her dog in makeup (blood on it). Starring or directed by Billy Zane (the bad guy in Titanic).

Born on the 4th of July and JFK. A few scenes in Born on the 4th of July were shot in Oak Cliff's historic Elmwood neighborhood.
