Hello my dear friends. I've been absent for a pretty long while. This week, where I've been at home b/c I called in sick on Monday, I slept a lot and was mostly and bed reading or napping. I'm feeling much better now but I got used to staying at home and doing nothing so I don't look forward to another week at work

I hope all is well with you.

Lunch was lentil soup with some blood sausage (many of you wouldn't eat that, I know ).

Christmas time is coming rapidly so I'm already indulging in all the chocolate things only available at this time of year. There are these delicious things called dominos. Do you have this in the US too? They are about half an inch x half an inch and the base is some kind of soft biscuit, it's topped with a layer jelly and a layer marzipan and the whole thing is covered in dark chocolate. It's really sweet but I just love them. So I had one before lunch and one after lunch.

Nothing else so far. I've planned to do some crépes stuffed with ground meat, onions and cheese in a creamy white wine sauce but I will put that on hold till tomorrow.

Okay, need to put DS to bed.

Happy Sunday to all of you!

Awwww... I felt so bad that no one else had replied, I'm replying! Nothing to say because this was yesterday and my 49ers lost. But, I just couldn't stand the thought of a friends letter not being answered!

I've never heard of Dominos here in the US but I could be wrong---there are a lot of things I am unaware of! They sound good. The chocolate craze is starting up here too. It's that time of the year I guess. I rarely crave chocolate but the other day I just had to have something chocolate so I decided I would do it in a healthy way (??) ha! I picked up some chocolate covered raisins! Hit the spot!
