Sadly, no one is even promised today either! RIP to someone who died doing what they loved.

Race car driver and TV personality Jessi Combs died tragically during an attempt to break her own land-speed record.

She was involved in the fatal crash during her attempt on Tuesday on a dry lake bed in Oregon.

She was 36 years old.

She should have stuck to TV show hosting. Why was she attempting to break her own record anyway? It sounds like she was competing against herself. You can't keep doing crap like that forever, before something is going to go wrong.

I think the odds of someone dying driving a jet powered car across the desert, might be just a bit higher the the chances of an average Joe getting killed commuting to work.

Maybe forever. It doesn't sound like there are a lot, or any women for that matter, interested in challenging her.

Supposedly it's been posted online, but I can't find it anywhere. So maybe it's been removed, or it wasn't posted.

Okay.

I can't recall if Paul Walkers crash was on tape or not.

People have differing opinions on whether or not we should be able to view such tragedies.

That's an unfortunate and tragic loss. It's always a risk in that line of work, of course, but still highly regrettable. Requiescat in pace.
