There are many stereotypes coming from surrounding towns like filthy rich, snobby, country clubs, skiing boating, teenagers driving the newest cars, etc. A lot of these are true. But we aren't as bad as you think. You know everyone you see walking through the town. It's a very comfy place to be in. You will enjoy it a lot.

Darien is very wealthy, and very white. It will be a little bit of a culture shock coming from Vancouver.

For your brother. Plenty of nightlife in Stamford and Norwalk nearby, and you're an hour train ride to some of the best nightlife in the world... Keep in mind our drinking age is 21, so if he's underage he won't have much luck. There's a handful of clubs that do 18+ nights in Stamford and Norwalk.

OMG. I've always been bothered by the metro north recording that pronounced it this way and now you're telling me this is correct?? I've been saying DerryN for 8 years....
