I don't mind this weather at all! Last week was too cool for us to swim, I like it between 85-90. I just wish we'd get some rain, we really need it.

Hey look it's hot and humid again! PUKE!

I can deal with our normal 18 days a year over 90 but this is just rediculous.

Let's go winter. I can always dress warmer but there's a limit to how much you can strip off till the point you're naked.

I work outdoors and this is one of the hardest summers I have ever worked. I usually love the heat and never complain, but I'm beat up this summer. Got heat exhaustion for the first time in my life this July and it was much more painful and scary than I ever imagined. Way too hot, way too dry and very hard working weather.

Well I do a fair amount of work outside and do like the heat (and can tolerate the humidity ok)…but this summer has worn me down a bit too. I’m not really surprised though…this has been like an old fashioned East Coast summer of the 1950’s - relentless heat and humidity.

Many of the NWS reporting stations in the Tri-State area (Bridgeport, NYC (Central Park), Hartford, Trenton, Atlantic City…etc) reported monthly mean temperatures not too much different than NWS stations in the subtropical south Atlantic states: The monthly mean temperatures this July (2010) in NYC was 81 F and 78 F at Bridgeport…not too much different than the July mean temps in Charleston, South Carolina (82 F) or Wilmington, North Carolina (81 F). If you really want to feel bad…this past July the NWS station in San Diego, California reported a monthly mean temperatures of 65 F…about 12 F to 18 F colder than anywhere on the East Coast from NYC/Connecticut south –lol.

I know someone who works at NWS San Diego. Get to see various Facebook updates from him about the weather down there: they have set record lows a bunch of times recently. Even shattering them by 3-5 degrees in some cases. The weather pattern in that area has shifted a couple hundred miles off than normal for this time of year.

This weekend was nice, the last three days. At least got a little showers overnight and this morning, but probably could use more. This summer has been way too warm and muggy to have this little convection associated with it.

Yes, I'm curious about where Cambium's cold temp predictions are coming from. I'm not seeing anything near that low for my area in the next week.
