Exactly. These people haven't been sucked up by aliens and carted away. They still live there. I'm not saying that there is anything wrong with that, i'm just trying to convey the fact that the town has a somewhat odd feel to it because the newer residents are quite different. That's all.

We have not made an offer more than 30 below asking! Nobody will accept but we are very interested in Mountainview estates in Oxford. We will see!

Listen, lets get something straight. All I'm telling you is the background of the town. All those "natives" did not pull up stakes and leave town. There is a balance going on in Oxford between the new and the old.

I'm not looking down at anyone. In case you missed it I WAS ONE OF those "white trash" people jumping off the bridge, having bonfire keggers etc.

I've grown up in many ways, but I am certainly not ashamed of my split roots. (Half my "childhood" living the ghetto city life, and the other half in poor rural living.)

So please do not paint me with any kind of brush as I'm not doing the same to you...just trying to give you some background on the town.

Thank you.

Yes and I am in the process of deleting posts and issuing infractions. I am also closing this thread since it went way off topic. JayCT, Moderator
