Why not get a rain sensor for the irrigation system?

Because they don’t work well. We have it on our system but it failed after the first year. Jay

I don't mind turning a simple dial to turn on and off. Just funny when you're so sure its gonna rain and it doesn't and when you think its not and it does. LOL. Not a biggy

Thanks. Yeah, that seems to be the consensus.

Radar Loop past 4hrs. June 26, 2023. Localized storms. Consider yourself unlucky if you didn't have rain falling. Dews in the Upper 60s/Low 70s. HUMID!

Its those dew points. Thick tropical air, quick hitting thundershowers, then they end. I was just out there working in it. Whew.

Latest long range is suggesting a brief 1 day break from all the humidity and thunderstorms on Thursday and again on July 3.

What is interesting is the real heat has been inland so far this June. Bradley has had 13 days this June so far in the 80's and 90's...Bridgeport only 2!. Bradley is now only 1.5 F below normal, but Bridgeport is still 3.2 F below normal.

Rain total past 24hrs only. Were you lucky or unlucky?

Some spots got over 4 inches of rain!(Red) while others saw less than 1/4"

Orange = 2-4"
Yellow = 1-2"
Light blue = Under 0.10"
