It's ridiculous. Another day in the books with a "T" here.

NYC reported moderate snow for at least 20 minutes. Wonder if anything stuck.

It's been "snowing" for awhile in here Westchester County and it's really nothing at all if that helps. You know how I feel about it.

Of the 6 "NWS New York" stations (BDR being one of them), only Newark Airport had sticking snow, 0.3"

Latest Euro...

Storm comes from the south brings some gulf moisture with it.
It's below freezing at 5000' over CT
Storm exits NC comes up the coast.
998mb Storm hugging the NJ coast with cold air still over us..

This result is a HUGE Snowstorm Wed-Thurs next week

Here is the snow totals from this update. LOL.

It's using 10:1 ratios so deduct a few inches since it wont be 10:1. Would be a wetter snow.

Euro goes Boom again. As well as many ensembles. Wow!! Been a while since we had good signal this far out. Reminds me of the 2010-2012 period.

Wish I wasnt so busy. What are some Mets saying??

NWS NY
Why cant this be said "Strong signal for snowstorm but we're a week away so changes are possible and it might even be sunny that day" WHY are they so scared to mention snow???? So odd. They can mention rain and be wrong but Lord forbid them to mention snow and be wrong.

Area Forecast Discussion
National Weather Service New York NY
535 PM EST Thu Dec 10 2020.

Global models continue to signal a southern stream-dominated low
pressure system that could approach and pass nearby Wednesday into
Wednesday night impacting the local area. Will not be making any
significant changes to the current forecast during this time period
being this is still far out in time. Right now it appears that the
most likely precipitation types would be rain at the coast and a
wintry mix inland with the possibility of light snow towards the
tail end late Wednesday night, but this has plenty of time to change.
High pressure builds back across the area on Thursday.
