Euro12z with a west trend past 3 runs for Tuesday 8am.

Latest has a 989mb low hitting Eastern end of Long Island heading into CT.

That would mean intense winds over CT for sure.. Wicked rain to heavy snowfall senario

Each 3 images are showing the difference in placement of the storm for Tuesday 8am. Each 3 images are the updates from the last 3 runs.

Then from Tuesday morning to Wedesday morning the system stops and moves EAST! Cold air engulfs the storm even over the ocean and bands of snow start rotating southward on land.

Where the heaviest bands sets up is where someone is gonna pick up BIG totals

Definitely elevation related according to the map. The big wall is as you go up the hill from Southington to Wolcott or from Bristol to Terryville. Bottom of the hill: less than an inch; top of the hill a foot. One of those storms where the center of Bristol could get next to nothing and Chippens' Hill gets 18".

So, what should Milford expect, Cambium? I value your opinion most.

NAM06z Ptype loop Monday 8am to Wednesday 2pm

It will start as rain for everyone in CT tomorrow (except above 1200') then start changing to snow as cold air comes in starting tomorrow night and into Tuesday during the day

It is impossible to know where the heaviest snow will setup. That's why you see a wide range of forecasts. And you know by now that there are last minute shifts with storms
