Here I am bothered about something on this "rainy" Sunday afternoon...

On March 10, 2017 we had a snowstorm.

March 10th vs today Feb 4th

No High Pressure in Quebec, like today.
5000' temps just below freezing, like today.
Temps were in the 50s and 60s day before, yesterday was in the 20s.
Snow started in the morning, rain started in early afternoon
Temps were upper 30s before the snow started, temp near 40° before rain started
Winds were from the Northeast, today from the EastNorthEast.
Dewpoints were in the 20s before the snow, dews were in the 30s before the rain

So you telling me the only difference why we didn't get a snowstorm was the winds and dewpoints??

This Wednesday could be a big snow event if temps drop more than anticipated?

Halftime.

I'll post update tomorrow on Wednesday. HUGE shift with the Euro. Another big shift south and we're in.

For now... Raining heavy.. As expected after 7pm the embedded heavier rains would happen.

4:15-8:15pm Loop with storm reports. I'm seeing 4-10" in NY and VT.

Lots of snow for the mountains

Was watching the game hearing heavy rain outside the whole time. Sucks they lost but what a game!.

So much mud and ponding in the yard.

6:30-10:30pm loop. Those reds are seriously heavy downpours. So many yellows I didn't expect that. Looks like Spring.

Almost done here. Backedge just arrived in NYC

I drove home right after halftime, actually came across some pretty "flooded" roads.. sickening to be honest. We better have a pattern shift soon and bring on the snow storms. You may be "bothered" by this, but I'm "heartbroken"..

Dont forget the theme past few winters. It showed up in February and MARCH. But I agree, another waste of liquid falling. This would of been 12-24" snowstorm.

Active pattern so theres more chances at least.

I kinda had a strange feeling we saw our 4 weeks of winter Dec 8th to Jan 8th and we were done. Usually its 4 and done but maybe cause it was early this time we'll get our 2nd spurt

I'm perfectly fine with a front loaded winter and now it's about over. I've had a week of 80s plus another week coming. Let's bring this back to home for April and May, and let's get some 50s until then.
