Actually I'd call it pretty typical for southern new england. Cold and then too hot. It's rarely comfortable 60/70s type of weather. Same cycle every year. People say "I'm NOT complaining about heat this summer" during the heart of winter then of course it gets disgustingly hot and you hear it. Move to san diego and you get year round comfort or move to florida and you get a solid 7 months of comfortable weather. It was it is here in the northeast

Its great! Weather varies greatly, never stays one way too long. Each season makes the next season that much more rewarding.

Does this next cold front look robust for July? Northern New England will be waking up to the 40s Saturday morning. It won't reach it but Montpelier, VT, has an all-time record low of 35 F for the month of July (since 1948). If it wasn't so hot up near Canada, perhaps cooler air would have made it further south on the models. We'll have to see.

The front itself isn't impressive, neither is the air behind it BUT IS a cold one for July and below normal. The lows will be determined from clearing skies and dying winds. We'll see.

And here it comes! Thank the Lord!

Dew points in the nice comfortable dry 40s/50s behind this front.

GFS has a Hurricane off the coast next week. lol.
Canadian has a weaker storm and well off shore
Euro is even further out to sea

Happy about the quiet hurricane season so far. No dumb headlines to read.

I am a Winter complainer. Driving force of wanting to move some where warm. Snow and ice are a pain to drive in. There is nothing to do in the Winter outside of eat & hibernate till 50 degree weather returns ha!
