How's everyone's summer going? Usually this time of year I look back at my winter videos.

I was in Lakewood, NJ for baseball on Tuesday, July 9th. Warm/hot...but dry. The milky sun seemed to come in there first (northern Ocean County).

One of the NYC radio stations mentioned that the second round of "Manhattanenge" occurs by Friday or so. I just know it has to do with sunset.

Atmosphere loaded in some areas so there's been flash flooding. Look at those big lightning icons over NJ. Lightning struck homes. Lots of flooding reports in PA when those reds came over them.

It is a somewhat recent term coined by famed astronomer Neil De Grassi-Tyson, this article explains the phenomenon best:

I thought I would stay under 2" this month for first time since June 2016. Well there goes that. lol. I'm at 2.02" for the month now.




1.44" in East Hartford
0.80" in Newington
0.19" in Goshen
