Future Radar Loop now till Monday Afternoon. Too fast for you? Use this link and use the scroll bar to pause and go back and forth.

NO NORTHEAST WINDS. Not a NorEaster. Doesn't even look like a coastal storm. The front will shear it off but the whole merging of everything is whats causing the strong winds and rain.

I edited post, forgot to use the radar with PType, look at look now and you'll see the snow. (not for us!)

The blob (heavy sideways driven rains perhaps) happens around 03z (11pm Sunday) continues through the night. Gonna be a long night?

But we wont know exactly what time till we see the actual radar tomorrow. This is according to the Hi Res NAM model. So figure after sunset things get worse.

OMG it's water falling from the sky! Stay inside guys! Lock yourself in! Don't get wet! "BIG" storm, chaos. Pummel. Perfect storm Part2. Sandy's sister.

All joking aside, should get more intense later this evening after 7pm. All clear by morning commute and should be fine unless there's some trees blocking a road or flooding.

Thanks Cam. You feel pretty confident on the 7pm cut-off? I am supposed to be celebrating my MIL’s birthday in Wallingford and was on the fence about going. Brunch is at noon and we were planning to be home by 5pm/in daylight. I’m not a fan of driving on the Merritt or around Wilton in any high wind.

If I ever don't respond fast enough, you guys can always use the hourly forecast to get an idea of times...

Around sunset to before sunrise will be the worst of things. Should start getting louder outside.
