Yea..well some areas will see up to 6 inches of rain but it will not be widespread and eastern long island and Coastal CT will see wind gusts to 60..so there are areas that will see some major effects but our area here in Danbury should not be anything more than a soaking rain. Always worry about flash flooding in these tropical type streams though as you can get a thunderstorm to produce it and this is a possibility

True. And we do need the rain around here. Think I will charge all the devices tonight and pick up a couple gallons of water today just in case... My generator “operator” is away for the weekend

This seems about accurate. Power outages seem to be likely in the four southern counties if what you say materializes. 60 mph gusts are pretty intense!

Just got back in. Gotta catch up on stuff.

First a look at the 5pm temps and radar... 30s and 40s behind the front in the afternoon, 60s and 70s ahead of it.

Coastal storm moving up, front pushing east. Ignore the orange lines (500mb heights)

Looks like after midnight tonight for western CT as scattered showers.. Around lunch time for Eastern CT.

Heaviest rain and wind comes after sunset tomorrow for everyone.

Ah man, that's what I was worried about.... If anything it'd be better if the worst came during the day...guess plans will shift to sleep on the boat tomorrow, was hoping to be able to sit at the club and watch over everyone's stuff during the day.. wish there wasn't any work Monday morning!!

This makes more sense now. But remember... Its a "MAX". Doesn't mean sustained. Doesn't mean every 5 minutes. Might be 40-50mph every 15 minutes. Not 100%. But expect some branches and maybe trees down especially if its raining too!
