Time And Date puts Hartford-Brainard Airport as 5:17 and 8:29. Today's loss of light is 14 seconds.

They also had it as 78 and a dew of 49.

53° here this morning? AWESOME JUNE. In the 40s in some local spots in Connecticut. Well below normal from Philly to Maine.

50s in the NYC and Philly suburbs.
40s in some local spots in CT.
Frosty 30s in some local spots in New England

Yesterdays dew points were in the 40s so no surprise it dropped this low.

Big drop in soil temp this morning! 65.8°. Coldest since June 13th

In the garden Bed which is where I take the sample from to be consistent.

In the grass its warmer. Strange. I thought would be cooler. More compacted and rocks under here I was barely able to stick the probe down 3".

3 Words...

ITS ABOUT TIME.

Coldest June since 2009. It's been 9 yrs since feeling this cool/dry like June. Same for Bridgeport.

Usually the sunset time stays at its "max" until the 2nd week of July. What makes June 21 the most daylight is combining that with the sunrise time. Usually the sunrise time is at its earliest in mid-June, then after the 21st, it starts to creep upward while the sunset time stays static for a couple of weeks. Enjoy!

A super warm Friday and Saturday (and originally Thursday, but the rain may keep temps in check) might mess that up a bit....funny thing is NWS says it's still only 0.2 below normal so far in BDR (and 0.1 above normal in NYC)
