I'm counting another 6 using NWS's forecast. That's 9 total.
Using the EuroEPS forecast says it would be 13 in a row.

That would be historic for Bridgeport or at least Top 5 consecutive days staying below 32. And all this without a snowpack?????

I have to remember how to create those kind of charts from the NOWdata site (which is where I presume you get them), but in some ways this may be a colder stretch than Feb. 2015. I saw someone say on a forum that for Central Park this will likely be the first time since 2000 that we have a stretch of 4 days or more where the temperature never gets to 32 or higher. I thought, "no, didn't that happen in Feb. 2015?". But lo and behold, there never was a stretch that month in NYC of 4 days in a row with highs of 31 or colder. In fact there was only one case of 3 days in a row like that, the 15th through 17th, and the high on the 14th was 32. BDR did have a 7 day stretch in Feb. 2015 as noted in your chart.

Snow should start after sunrise Saturday west to east.
Be snowing across entire state Saturday early afternoon.
Be all done by Saturday sunset.

*Heads up because this will be slick, non melting type snow. Salt isnt affective with temps in teens but they should start salting tomorrow

Very cool! Found his site! Very cool site and details! 14" of snow on ground there. Currently -15°. If I ever want to rent out the lodge up there I'll keep you in mind.

Whoa! Kinda surprised they didn't Feb 2015. Guess a storm or some south flow ruined it.

Actually.. they had 5 in a row February 2014 & January 2013 & February 2007.
9 in a row January 2005

Last time in December with 5 in a row was in 1989.

Nice stats. interesting low diurnal range back in 1894. Yup, BDL record low max for today was 18° in 1924... Today....didn't pass 11°!!!

And I saw this from Eric. Boston shattered the record for today too..

A few of Todays Record Low Maxes only from the Northeast..

Hartford(BDL) didn't pass 11° today which blows the old record away from 1924.
Bridgeport also broke by wide margin Max of 18° beating the 24° in 1960

Islip max of 18° today breaks the 24° record in 1993
Providence max of 14° beats the 21° record in 1976

Albany max of 8° today breaks the 14° in 1894
Concord max of 5° today breaks the 14° record in 1946

Syracuse max of 8° today breaks the 13° record in 1924

Portland max of 8° today breaks the 11° record in 1946
Burlington max of 2° today breaks the 8° record in 1993

Richmond max of 27° today breaks the 28° record in 1924

Yeah, that forum I was in was quite wrong about the "4 days in a row in NYC with highs of 31 or less" not happening since 2000. In fact, I did a little more research and 4 in a row actually happened pretty recently, Feb 11-15, 2016 (with the 14th having the first subzero low since January, 1994). I think this will go a lot more than 4 days in a row though.....maybe even break 9 in a row?

The low of 13 there was apparently the coldest NYC temperature since Feb 15, 2016 though......
