Some talk about dry air mixing in on the back end of the storm. Looks like western CT isn't going to see any snow until late morning. Its still pretty warm.

While it's not my region either, this is a Connecticut weather forum and it does apply to some in the state.

It depends on what you are doing.....for the most part I completely agree with Cambium and say no, but for example, I am going with my daughter to something in Manhattan tomorrow and because I live close enough to do this (and don't go to the City often, maybe a couple of times a year) I usually save some money and drive to a subway station in the north Bronx (like in Riverdale, where it's a little safer than the eastern Bronx) and park my car on a nearby side street. However, being Sunday and right after the snow I think I will have trouble getting parking and will get my wife to take us to our nearest Metro North station and have either a nearby friend or my mother (who also lives near me) pick us up from the station when we come back (my wife won't be free to get us in the afternoon as she works retail and will be working then).

Yeah, a little TMI, but just an unusual example of where it will be a problem, but unless it's something like that I think you'll be fine. It should be done well before daybreak tomorrow and it's not looking like it will be a foot, etc.

Didn't realize it snowed down at the Florida panhandle coast too this morning. Crazy

The steadier stuff will come after 11am

Nothing in New Fairfield yet. thought we’d wake up to a dusting at least — I even had a big snow breakfast planned for us

Started at 830 here in WFD. Gradually until about 10 when it started to stick to the road. Grass has a coating and roads are getting sticky. Wood is ready for a fire soon, I think option 2 where it slowed down which could mean 6-8” for my area.

11am I got 0.7" of snow on the board which melted to 0.04" liquid. (17:1 ratios)

Slow and steady.. lots of moisture still to come..

6:50-10:50am loop this morning with storm reports. I see 2-4" south of us so far.

Roads are still fine, not coming down hard enough.. Slushy inch on them..

Sticking everywhere else. Up to 1.4" now.

12:30pm radar and metars..

Anyone within those darker blue returns is getting snow, light mostly but some spots moderate.

Anyone under those purples is getting much heavier snows but they are localized for now

Just south of Hartford--I am not taking a picture because I hate this.

Someone just told me the driving is very slippery. It's been coming down at a fast clip. Not that cold out, just a damp cold. Okay, so it IS sort of beautiful on the hemlocks, I'll grant you that.
