You and me both. I like the pictures because it reminds us how hazy it can be around here in the Summer.

While we have High Pressure over us now I was lucky enough to be near the water for work today.

Milford, CT

you got a great day. wish it was like that on Sat - then i wouldn't have had to take 3 showers throughout the day.

Nice pictures of Westlake. I really enjoyed my time living there. At least there is some hard info to counter the claim that it's all "ghetto".

Nice pics.. I love how its so rare to see past 1/4 mile in CT. lol. Also love how everything is so green. Nice CU clouds there.

I'm using a KodakZ990. For its price and features with the zoom and 1020HD video its worth it. As far as settings, I'll take multiple photos of one spot with different settings then just sort out which looked best. Seems like every situation is always different. There's a "landscape" feature on mine which seems to work well.

if someone could critique these i'd appreciate it. seems i still can't find the right combination of settings to get decent pictures. starting to think i'll have to upgrade my camera in order to get the nice clean sharp pics i've seen in this thread. anyway, here are some trials i snapped today at Harbor Park..

vivid color set, iso 400, WB clear day. looks nice but a little unnatural..

fish eye filter..

posterize filter. not sure what posterize does but it definitely changed the color of the sky..

back to Auto..
