Biggest snowstorm for Bridgeport (since 1949) Feb 13, 2009 with 30"

Biggest snowstorm For Hartford.(since 1905) Jan 12-13, 2011 with 24.0"
True! How about Hamden CT in 2013- 40 inches!

That was the storm noted as nearby Ansonia with 41" being the record.

Just heard NO BLIZZARD. I come here to see if it's true? Nothing. I'm lost.

Go to the "Blizzard March 14 2017" thread. That's half true and half not true. Models are trending a little more west which means a mix or change to rain for part of the storm for some areas. But it also means heavier snowfall rates when there is snow falling as we'll be closer to the more intense part of the storm. It's explained in the later pages of that thread.

Default skating!

I'm loving this late winter. Our most consistent skating weather yet! I just hope we don't get too much rain tomorrow.

Keeping fingers crossed Saturday is just a cloudy day. They already rescheduled a road race. Going up to visit family in Litchfield County the weather sounds erily familiar to a two winters ago. Was a nasty ice storm in CT accidents all over the State driving down their drive way couldn't see was 1 to 1.5 inch of ice. Slid into a ditch no traction had to wait till the next day to remove my car from the ditch.

The weather report for this weekend seems to have no answer on how it will be. Looking at the hourly for where I live snow showers are possible from early morning to noon for Saturday. Then snow showers again early morning to noon for Sunday.

My summer tires never touch the road from Thanksgiving to Tax Day. That's what snow tires are for. Here we go...

Looks like another inch or so Friday night and Saturday. Then another arctic blast next week. WTF.

March for sure will be locked in as below normal maybe Top 5 coldest?

No 50s in sight. Low 40s early next week at least. Gees!
