Just go to NowData site: Bridgeport with this link. Hartford with this link.

Use "por" to go back to when records started.

After clicking "go" you'll see the results. You can click "enlarge" to get a bigger screen version. You can eyeball which yr February had more 50s/60s or I just copied and pasted it into Excel and did my thing.

For Hartford: 1906, 1909, 1915, 1937, 1981, 1984 Had more 50+ days in February than March. So no, not common and been 3 decades since.

For Bridgeport:
February 1984: 5
March 1984: 4

Rarer for coast. There were a few tied or close yrs though.
Thanks I keep forgetting about that site, I mostly just analyze OKX website charts which didn't have that info.

Unbelievable. And nothing will be melting fast. We'll see what the sun does over the weekend. Ugh

Good, I was looking for one last shot of winter! That's not much snow tomorrow. Just enough to get the majority of parents and non-snow drivers off the road, making my morning commute a relative breeze

Counting snow showers. Weather reports are saying Tuesdays storm, still a bit away, snow showers at 5am to 8am. Then a 24 hour snow event. Then around 7am/8am Wednesday snow showers throughout the day till 8pm.

Sounds awful.
