So how do you guys like 80s with dewpoints in the 50s? Not often we can say that. Not as humid outside. Cold front came through with north winds drying the air while the sun and a west flow aloft making us warm. Nice combo.

I'm still battling poison ivy so I can't enjoy it anyway. Gotta stay cool and dry so my A/C is running all day

When the wind blew it actually felt quite nice in the shade today.

I don't think winds were coming off the water as BDR and JFK had temperatures similar to everyone else.

Heavy rain tonight and tomorrow. Long week of rain and storm chances. I'm sure we'll squeeze out a sunny day somewhere. No heat waves in sight yet for us but let me be quiet. Lol

Rain total forecast next 24hrs

Here's wider look through Tuesday. We are on top of the Hot ridge. Poor folks in the southeast are sizzling

How come you don't have a rain gauge yet? They are like $2-4 bucks. Unless you want to get a professional one for $30. I will pull the data later or tomorrow morning. I'm over 3" for the month

Big Temp anomaly difference in Northeast from 1st week of June & the next 7 days.

Bridgeport(BDR) Coldest on record to 5th warmest on record.
Boston 2nd Coldest for July 1-7 period then to 11th Warmest for July 8-14 period.

WPC QPF Forecast next 7 days. http://www.wpc.ncep.noaa.gov/qpf/day1-7.shtml

Wonderful. Not sure if I would want to be in the center of that ring (They are getting torched) so I guess I'll take the clouds and rain.

Some Stats: Wettest Junes:

Bridgeport 17.7" in 1972.
Boston 13.2" in 1982.
NYC 10.2" in 2003.
Albany 8.7" in 2006.
