Saw that excited about that. Read an updated forecast saying freezing rain early Sunday morning around 4. Then transitioning to snow showers. Eventually will start to snow for a significant amount of time, 6 to 8 hours. No details yet on how much. Then transition to rain from mid afternoon to midnight. Where around midnight be a transition from rain to snow showers. Snow showers till early Monday morning, 4am.

Also hearing on some reports sleet and freezing rain will be thrown more into the mix Sunday.

Many of the SW NJ snow totals didn't look it because it primarily only stuck on cars and grassy areas.

I went out after the storm yesterday and drove 45 minutes to my local Costco and the roads all over look like it rained.

Hence no shoveling for this storm for me other than cleaning my car off = my 2 degenerative back discs appreciate it.

Roads are a mess today. Driving through town about inch of snow caked on to the roads. Probably due to the warm weather day before caused ice or something. Both back and main roads were like this. Many roads that are usually two lanes became one, even some main roads.

Most sidewalks are not plowed.

Also noticed a few vehicles that didn't clear snow off the top of their vehicles out there.

2 events.

Lets start with tonight and tomorrow. Lets take a look from this afternoon to Saturday afternoon. Watch the snow come from the NW and clip us. NYC south nothing. Light. 1-2". Snow starts after 6pm tonight. Clears out by Saturday 9am.

Then..... Lets look at the frames Sunday afternoon to Monday morning.

NAM model says rain for Southern CT (YES!) but snow for northern CT. Starts by 10am Sunday and snows/rains all day. Starts clearing out after sunset. Snow Amounts should stay under 5 inches everywhere but heads up on the ice and sleet.

DOT did an awesome job this past storm so I'm sure they'll be on top of things again for Sunday.

Heaviest snows I think would happen after lunchtime Sunday. Like between 12-5pm
