Love that the panhandle data shows up! Also cool how you can see the line of trap rock ridges running N-S just north of New Haven, which is the Metacomet ridge. Another reminder on how elevation corresponds to snowpack!

Good point.

And if you look at the state of Rhode Island on Cambium's map, you can still see some snow in the area of some of Rhode Island's highest hills.

How about the 17° low there the other day. No mention of that? Interesting.

1st time I hit 45° since Dec 6th (aside from this past Sunday). Wow! And it still felt chilly. Been cold lately

Storm on 29-30th still showing up

Almost have the coal stove completely installed. At least the furnace is going. I thought I was going to freeze. Couldn't get out of my road Saturday. Took forever for the streets to get cleared - not like last winter.

NE Massachusetts by the ocean--we got about an inch of the white stuff today. But it was kind of warm and most of it melted, then froze later on. Hoping for NAH NO NOPE XXXXXX (when I say something like that it puts a jinx on it.)

Now you're getting a little paranoid, my only reason saying it was because you said no 50s in the forecast, I wouldn't have even thought about it otherwise. I would agree 17 this time of year is a lot more impressive than 49 (since average highs are still in the low 40s anyway). In fact the only reason I mentioned BDR still being a bit above normal (but barely) is I thought it was strange (for no real reason) given everyone else was at that point at least 1.5 below normal.

No 50s. Should we ignore the teens & talk about the Upper 40s on Christmas? lol

I only see 3 of 8 warm days. Rest are seasonable.

No Big cold blasts. No Big Heat Surges. No Big Storms. next 7 days.

Some rain Saturday morning.
Maybe a mix or just rain Monday
Thursday 29th watching probably another rain storm
Sunday Jan 1st watching another storm
