Anyone going on a cruise or boat ride? See if you see the edge of stunning, powerful, dangerous Cat 4 Hurricane Nicole. Bermuda about to take a direct hit. The eye is bigger than the island

Interesting little tidbit about the forecast from beyond early/mid next week from the website Southern CT Weather"

"There is some confusion in the modeling as we get into the long range. Arctic air and a pattern in flux beating up against a strong Western Atlantic Ridge is a good recipe for a big storm around change time. But as far as details, models are all over the place, so other than advising everyone to be ready for a potential storm in this time frame, I can't say much else".

We'll see. On a side-note, wow, that hurricane.

What are the chances we get some accumulating rain with this front?

I look forward to my few drops! lol

Funny how 60s feels warm now, huh? Our bodies are adjusting. Behind the front is nice October weather!

I saw a little bit of rain in Stamford when I left around 4 to go home.

By the way, did they change the "torch" forecast for next week? NWS forecasts mostly showing temps near or even a bit below 70 instead of mid-upper 70s.

The ground looked damp when leaving my job in Berlin at 5 PM, walking back into New Britain's south end. I felt a sprinkle when walking through Willow Brook Park. I never had to open my umbrella at all.

Yeah, couple rain chances coming up

The good news is, we might actually get decent rains from this (but how many times have we said that?)
The bad news is, the cold isn't being shown anymore. (bad news for those who need it)

Guess we have to sacrifice cold for rain?

Next Friday the 21st is the storm possibility.
