Hopefully they won't screw up my ticket orders as much as they screw up my order at my neighborhood Dunkin Donuts...

I've been to most of the cities on that list. Hartford is far better than a place like Sacramento which has virtually nothing going for it. One of the most boring places in the world.

Sacramento has a college-level NBA team and Hartford has an NBA-level college team.

Have you been there? There is nothing going on. I used to go there for work over a couple of year period. No good hotels. No great restaurants except steak at an old corral type place. Yes, they have a perennial lousy basketball team.

The people were nice but there is much more to do in Hartford.

Sacramento has a legitimate rapid transit system (light rail). Hartford has a "bus rapid transit" (CT Fastrak).

Hi, I'm new here. Moved recently from Northern California and have spent a great deal in Sacramento. I'd like to chime in on some of the things

I don't know what period you visited Sacramento, probably mid-2000s, because Sac has changed a lot over the last decade. There is some pretty good high-rise hotels like The Citizen, Hyatt Regency, Sheraton, Marriott and a Kimpton is under construction next to the new Kings arena. There are some excellent restaurants in the downtown/midtown area as well. Sounds like that steak you had at the "old corral" was somewhere in the suburbs. Do you remember the name of the restaurant you went to?

Aside from the Kings, word is the local minor league team the Republic will be promoted to Major League Soccer soon. They plan on building a 25,000 seat stadium downtown next year. Also the airport got revamped. There is a plan to build a streetcar system too. There are other projects on the way.

Anyway, stating that there is nothing going on implies there is literally nothing going on.
