Wow...LOTS of rain, totally flooding out portions of my yard. I aerated yesterday and put down fertilizer and crabgrass pre-emergent. I think it is safe to say that the roots are getting their water! lol

COOP and CocoRaHS are sometimes sketchy as they don't report with each storm but most are good

I see West Glocester, RI with 121.5". NW Side near CT border.

Staffordville, CT the winner with 100.7"

Here's MA

Long Island, NYC, Westchester, Putnam, and Dutchess Counties.
The 15.5" at Yorktown Heights, NY and 15.1" at Bridgehamton, NY have to be errors, as do the lower half of the RI amounts......

Should be less than 1/2" but we're in an unsettled period for another week now. Expect cloudy and on and off rain showers. This feature that will stall over New England is one of my favorite weather features. Upper Level Low. If this was a winter month we would be talking about on & off snow showers for days.

Not an error, it's just that they didn't report and record each snow event. I wish we had "official" data for every town. Euphoria! lol

After tomorrow no 60s till May? Can that be?

And I'm not talking about an hours worth either. It may be over a week after tomorrow that we see daytime 60s for 3+ hrs.

Hard to imagine with an August sun angle.

Then again.. Upper Lows generate cloudy conditions

Was wicked. Constant Vivid lightning and thunder. Heavy Downpour. 2.7" in the rain gauge in 24hrs. Grass is so lush.

Temp was 51° with the thunderstorm.

8 Day forecast. No 60s till May after today. Im calling no 60 tomorrow.
Just chilly few days Thurs-Sun. Friday morning and day should be the coldest.

Come on Cam, this statement won't even last 24 hours. I'll be above 60 today, tomorrow and Saturday through Monday.
