Boucing back quick. Nice warm-up coming now. Looks like the minimum came in between the 6-7am hourly capture. So after it read the 26° at 5:52am it dropped to 24° at some point that hour then at 6:52am was 26°.

Is that what's forecast? My mom is driving up on Wednesday and the rest of our guests will be arriving Thursday morning. Is it supposed to be a lot? I do remember snow on thanksgiving once -- I think early 2000s, possibly 2002?

Edit: it definitely was 2002. I remember it because that was the Thanksgiving an elderly couple in my town was murdered. It was so random and bizarre. They were apparently getting ready to host thanksgiving dinner, when this 20 something year old kid from Kentucky who was up visiting relatives also in town, randomly broke into their house and beat them to death with a crowbar. We had spent thanksgiving that year in the city, and when we were driving home that night it began to snow. By the time we got back to new Fairfield, state police were everywhere. We thought maybe it was because of accidents/slippery roads. It was only later that night when we watched the news did we realize why the police were in town -- it wasn't because of the snow. Last night on Channel 2 (CBS) Lonnie Quinn has his Thanksgiving forecast as mid 40's and sunny. And perfect weather for the Parade. So this new forecast is an eye opener!

It's not a forecast. It's a possibility, a chance. 2 totally different things.

Wow, I don't remember that at all. But yeah it was definitely 2002 when we had the snowstorm on Thanksgiving morning.

Are most models in agreement on this storm or have some been calling for rain/OTS? I ask because we're having some relatives from LI come up Thurs for the holiday.
