Lol. I believe that was weatherboy. Snow maybe for New England not us but I'll have to check with future updates since the word is being thrown around. Lol. I know GFS showed a little snow for Memphis TN but its so marginal its not worth mentioning.

Name of FB page is L.I. Weather Guy and here's the map he showed. I know that Tri-State Weather did something like this on April 1 for the next rainstorm as an April Fool's prank. Claims its the Euro for 4/16-17 (and that it since backed off quite a bit and that he agrees its ridiculous and virtually impossible) but noted that no other model shows even shows snow (I'd think even more than an inch at that point would be historic personally). Maybe this is someone else's April Fools prank and he picked up on it late:

Another nice Spring day today and tomorrow before clouds move in Friday.

Here's GFS data for Danbury. Notice the warmup 13-15 looks like some warm above normal mornings. Then couple days of cooling. Then back to seasonable warm days/cool nights. Not showing that 5 inch rain fall either.

Also.. look at Thursday 06z (2am) Danbury near freezing mark. Tomorrow morning will be a cold one with High pressure right over us.

Looking more and more like Monday will be very warm. GFS6z max temps here Monday afternoon. While it only shows 60s in CT I believe we have a chance at low 70s. We'll see.

Nice to be talking about that instead of the "4 letter word that begins with an s" for a change.....

Yup.

I Was looking at the extreme max temps for curiosity for Hartford and it's in the upper 70s/80s for April. Even some 90s after mid month. Just not that kind of pattern this year. I remember in 2012 I think we were talking about Highs getting close MANY times

This Spring might turn out forgettable but nostalgic from a normal stand point. (we tend to forget the normal seasons and remember the extremes.)

Quick reminder for everyone since we're in the rainy seasons.

Go to Walmart or local nursery and pick up a cheap rain gauge.

Post back here with your rainfall total. It will be fun to see and beneficial for you to know for your lawn/garden how much rain fell. Make sure its in the open.

There's 2 types... Well 3 types... there's the weather station type (more expensive) but its automatic and digital.

This one just stick in the ground. About $5.00

Or this one just mount on the deck/fence. About $3.00
